About Us

EastTex Regional Community Emergency Response Team(CERT) is a volunteer organization of trained citizen emergency responders serving
Rockwall, Collin, Hunt, Kaufman, Van Zandt counties and city of Sunnyvale in Texas.When activated by local Fire/Rescue, Police, Sheriff or Office of Emergency management team has 168 trained volunteers that can provide missing person search/rescue support, triage/medical support, community citizen training, community event support, emergency radio communication support, stop-the-bleed training, medical flight landing zone operation support, staging area operations/support, and members that are vetted search personnel during NorthEast Texas CART(Child Abduction Response Team) activation's.Team members have First Aid/CPR/AED training, wide area search training, K9 search support training, FEMA and TEEX training in various areas of emergency community response support.
