    City of Greenville
    Job Description
    Works under the general direction of the City Manager in the administration of the City’s Human Resource Department.  Supervises bi-weekly payroll, compensation plan, employee fringe benefit programs, recruiting and selection of employees, City’s Human Resource policies, and compliance with applicable Local, State and Federal employment laws and regulations.  Coordinates and administers City’s risk management program and placement of liability and property insurance.  Serves as Chapter 143 Police and Fire Civil Service Director.  Coordinates employee training and safety programs.  Prepares and administers annual Human Resource, Health Insurance, and Property/Liability Insurance budgets.
    Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field and minimum five (5) years human resource experience.   Desire Master’s Degree, previous municipal experience and knowledge of Chapter 143 Police and Fire Civil Service Law. Knowledge of ADP payroll software helpful.

    Starting Salary:  DOQ.
    Hours: Normal business hours.  M-F/8-5.
