Majors Field Fly-In
Majors Field, the City of Greenville's municipal airport, is hosing a fly-in on Saturday, Nov. 3. The event is free and open to the public.
There will be antique aircraft on display, children's activities, a free pancake breakfast from 8-10 a.m. hosted by the Majors Flying Club, and aircraft rides for sale.
A number of historic warbirds are expected to be on display, including the "Lady Liberty," an A26-B bomber that saw service in World War II.
Area pilots are invited to come to Greenville and stay for the Bob Wills Fiddle Festival and Contest. Incentives for pilots include discounted fuel, free overnight tie-down parking and discount rates on hotel rooms.
