Hunt County Development Alliance-"Informational Update of L3Harris"

The Hunt County Economic Development Alliance presents L3Harris of Greenville who will provide an update on the current status and future plans for Greenville's and Hunt County's largest employer.  With approximately 6,500 members of staff, L3Harris and its predecessors continues its role as the leading economic engine for this area.  Its operation at Greenville Majors Field for over 70 years has been a major factor in the growth of Greenville and the people who have and continue to contribute to its leadership.  Its technology and capability as a preeminent contributor to our nation's defense is recognized worldwide.  Garry Smith, Vice-President of Operations, and other executives will provide an insight into the merger of L3 with Harris Corporation, the work of the Greenville operation and how the local operation has grown as its mission has evolved over time.
