Hunt County Days 2021
Hunt County Days is a Greenville Chamber of Commerce event, inclusive of the entire County, occurring every odd numbered year in conjunction with the State Legislature in Austin. As part of Hunt County Days, the Hunt County Government Affairs Committee has developed position papers regarding governmental concerns that have a direct impact on the future of Hunt County. These are issues that our local legislatures will be making policy decisions on during the 87th Legislative Session. These position papers will be delivered to our State Representative and State Senator prior to the session. Since we are unable to discuss these issues in person at the State Capitol this year, attendees of Hunt County Days will have the opportunity to be part of the discussion in an Open Forum at the Fletcher Warren Civic Center.
All topics of discussion will be relevant to Hunt County issues.
Topics of Interest include: Economic Development, Education K-12, Education-Higher Education, Education-Community College, Healthcare, Infrastructure, Taxation, Technology Empowerment, Tourism, Transportation and Water.
