Audie Murphy Day
This annual event celebrates the life of Audie Murphy, most decorated combat soldier of WWII, as well as military veterans and those currently serving our country. Some of our featured speakers will include Marjorie Lewis who wrote "When the Men Were Gone", actor Michael Dante who was in Apache Rifles and Arizona Raiders with Audie and historian Michael West. In addition, to celebrate the 25th year of Audie Day the bestselling movie To Hell & Back will be shown at the Texan Theater on Friday, May 21st. Saturday morning's activities will be at the civic center, afternoon and evening events at the museum.
